What is                     ?

NuPit (previously ConfiNe) is a pit additive designed to reduce foaming or crusting in manure pits, as well as reduce solid buildup in the bottom of the pit.  Treatment allows this sludge to be put back into suspension, therefore be pumped out during the manure land application process.  This helps to return the pit to maximum manure storage allowing manure application based on crop production, not crisis management.  NuPit treatments are based on the amount of manure in the pit, not the volume of the pit itself.
